He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Kuwitzky, and Bernice Kuwitzky, Sr. (Galvin); his wife LaVonne Thompson; and his sisters, Mildred Trapp and Joan Groagan.
He is survived by: his children, Kerry Kuwitzky (Cheryl) and Kim Finley (Robert); and his siblings, Michael Kuwitzky (Linda) and Linda Parks. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
