The memory of Eleanor May Estep of Mauston, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 27, 2026 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Eleanor is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertel Johnson and Grace Johnson (Remington); her brother Harold Johnson; her in-laws, John and Edith Estep; and her great-niece Kari Anderson.
She is survived by: her significant other Edwin R. Estep; her brother Bernard "Barney" Johnson (Joyce); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Johnson and Irene Martin (Ted). She is also survived by 14 nieces/nephews; 29 great-nieces/nephews; and 10 great-great-nieces/nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory and sent to Bethany Lutheran Church, 701 Grove St, Mauston, WI 53948, in care of the Plymouth Church Steeple Fund.
