It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nylene J Howell of Mauston, Wisconsin, born in Belmond, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandson Spencer Hansen; her parents, Wayne Withers and Darlene Borths; her siblings, Sherry Adcock, Janice Withers and David Withers; and her son-in-law Bryan Hansen.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Chuck Bagnowski; her children, Tracy Hansen, Jerry Hinton, Jamie Hinton (Dawn) and Angie Tolbert; her grandchildren, Brett Hansen, Jessip Hansen, Payton Hansen, Taylor Hinton, Ava Tolbert, Preston Tolbert, Madison Hinton and Tristian Hinton; her stepmother Pamela Withers; and her siblings, Rick Withers, Guy Withers, Darwin Withers, Jerry Withers, Jeff Borths, Rusty Borths, Donnie Borths, Theresa Borths, Wendy Withers, Jody Day, DeeSchell and Wade Withers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crandall Funeral Home, 123 Elm Street, Mauston, WI 53948. Contributions will be directed to Nylene's favorite charitable organization, Wizard of Rods, which supports local children's charities such as Ronald McDonald House.
