It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia A. Owens (Mauston, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. John Thorsness and Loretto Byrne Thorsness of Spooner, WI.; and her grandparents, Dr. Arlo, Agnes Johnson Thorsness, Patrick and Rose Kasper Byrne.
She is survived by: her husband Willard; her sons, Timothy Owens of Mauston and Tony Owens (Christina Jurkowski) of Lyndon Station; her siblings, Arlo Thorsness (Kim) of LaCrescent, MN, Thomas Thorsness (Stephanie) of Eau Claire and Dr. Kathryn Thorsness Schultz (Mark) of Maplewood, MN; and her granddaughter Alida Owens of Lyndon Station. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crandall Funeral Home (123 Elm St, Mauston, WI 53948). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Little Summit (N1060 WI-58, Mauston, WI 53948).
