She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Giese and Audrey Giese (Hurlbert); her great grandchild Rory Hug; her sister Ardis Sterr; her siblings-in-law, Jim Kobishop, Florian Sterr, Roman Gassner, Roger Gassner and Marilyn Gassner; her aunt Elaine; and her uncle Jim Hurlbert.
She is survived by: her husband James B. Gassner of Andrew's Catholic Church; her children, Brenda Hug (Scott) and Brian Gassner (Karen); her grandsons, Zachary Hug (Nicole), Derek Hug (Taylor), Bryce Gassner and Brent Gassner (Emily); her great grandchildren, Stella Hug, Isabelle Hug, Collin Hug and Cora Hug; and her brothers-in-law, Gerald Gassner (Ruth) and Sylvester Gassner (Carol). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
