Gary D. Schwandt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary D. Schwandt (Mayville, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 15, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Schwandt and Virginia Schwandt (Derge). He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Peter's Lutheran Church; his sons, Brian (Jenny) of Fort Atkinson and Dave (Connie) of Merrill; his brother Michael (Georgi) of Windsor; his grandchildren, Haeli Blatchley (Jon) of Waupaca, Taylor Carrizales (David) of Fort Atkinson, Kaden Schwandt of Merrill and Jake Schwandt of Merrill; and his great grandchildren, Livi, Brynn, Wells Blatchley of Waupaca, Elsie, Lyla, Rosalie Carrizales of Fort Atkinson, Kiah and LJ Schwandt of Waupaca. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Although he faithfully endured the devastating effects of Parkinson's disease for ten years, Gary's perspective remained grounded in Scripture.
