Though Scott may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Volkert. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Volkert; his wife Deb Volkert; his sons, Ryan (Ashley) and Chris Volkert (Claire); and his siblings, Mike Volkert, Julia Lohse (late Ralph) and Dave Volkert (Lori). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wisconsin Humane Society, Ozaukee Campus.
