He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Thiede and Lyla Thiede (Girling); his son Gene Walter Thiede of Portage, WI; and his stepson Steven Daniel Seiler of Reedsburg, WI.. He is survived by: his wife Ann Thiede; his sisters, Joanne Miller (Harold) of Baraboo, WI and Carol Davis (Rick) of Mauston, WI; his children, Rory Thiede (Sue), Kristine McCoy (Arnie) of Kingman, AZ and Shane Thiede of Interlachen, FL; and his stepchildren, Marla Campbell (Jim), Darcy Stevens (Ron), Dennis Seiler (Sher) and Cory Seiler (Teddy). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
