With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Father Dennis Stephen Smith (McFarland, Wisconsin), born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Louis Smith and Agnes Smith (Demuth); and his siblings, Peter J. Smith and Peggy Fallon. He is survived by: his nephew Thomas Fallon (Christy); his nieces, Maureen Keen (William), Susan Fallon and Katherine Fenski (Matthew); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Smith and Thomas Fallon (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (5306 Main St, McFarland, WI 53558). A rosary will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Church in McFarland and the Alzheimer's Association.
