He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Runge and Marjorie Runge (Hudson); and his siblings, Nancy Moede and Duane. He is survived by: his wife Pam Schindler (Luttinen); his daughters, Carrie Turner (Derek) of Holly Ridge, NC and Chas Froemming (Isaac) of River Falls; his grandchildren, Mack Domagala of River Falls, Ever Froemming of River Falls and Ashton Froemming of River Falls; his stepchildren, Rob Mokry of Santa Rosa, CA, Brandon Schindler (Brooke) of Wausau, Tracey Pollock (Chris) of Wausau and Kelsi Seubert (Ryan) of Wausau; his stepgrandchildren, Ryder, Rhett, Sophie, Henry and Michael; and his siblings, Dennis "Butch" (Diane) of Milwaukee, Ronnie (Lavone) of Edgar, Bradley (Kathy) of Ladysmith and Susan Karsten (Ron) of Curtiss. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home (203 N 4th St, Abbotsford, WI 54405).
In lieu of flowers, family prefers memorials or a tree planted in his memory.
