Duane Steien Obituary

We announce the death of Duane Steien of Melrose, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 76. Duane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Steien (Julson) and Helmer Steien; his brother-in-law Vernon Berg; and his brother Howard. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stetzer; his daughters, Sara Steien (Mike Dinos) and Dana Steien (Jeff Weatherhead); his grandchildren, Sadie Weatherhead, Rafael Dinos, Britta Weatherhead and Sofia Dinos; his siblings, Arlen Steien (Carolyn) and Lois Berg of Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Stetzer (Marian) of Melrose and Joan Stetzer (William Behlmer) of Pewaukee, WI.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
