Loraine L. Busse Obituary

We bid farewell to Loraine L. Busse of Melrose, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2025 at the age of 95. Loraine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Schamens and Jessie Schamens (Van der Schaaf); her husband Lester Busse; and her siblings, Eileen Schamens, Marlow Schamens and Lois Butler.

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Busse of La Crosse. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews; and many "borrowed" grandkids.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Ev Lutheran Church or to Jackson County Animal Shelter.
