She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Johnson and Betty Johnson (Thayer); her daughter Sandra J. Pierce; her husband Dennis R. Mikkelson; her granddaughter Avah Marie Mikkelson; and her brother Bruce Johnson.

She is survived by: her son Brent Mikkelson (Andrea). She is also survived by grandchildren; five treasured great-grandchildren; eight siblings; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many dear friends.
