She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Kloehn and Stacy Kloehn (Myhill); her son Jay Royal; her daughter-in-law Cindy; and her granddaughter Joanne Elsholtz.

She is survived by : her former life partner James Birling; her husband John Birling; her close friends, Eddie and Elaine; her children, Tim Birling of Weyauwega, Scott Birling of Menasha, Rodney Birling (Debbie) of Neenah, Sara Myhill (Steve) of Menasha and Jennie Utke (Darren) of Montello; her grandchildren, Stacey West (James), Becky Weber (Chad), Craig Myhill (Darrion) and Molly Utke; her grandson-in-law Brad Elsholtz; her great grandchildren, Brett, Michael, Jordan, Virginia, Charlotte, Lia, Brandon, Isabella, Keiran and Allisyn; her goddaughter Judy Cady (Cindy); and also John. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
