She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard and Hazel (Peterson); her husband Eugene; her son Ricky DeGroot; and her siblings, Richard Resch, Joan Anholzer, Tom Resch, Rose Harke, David Resch, Marilyn Resch and Carolyn Resch.
She is survived by: her sons, Guy DeGroot (Kathleen) and Gary DeGroot (Julianne Lind); her siblings, Don Resch (Adrian), Sandra Degoey, Gary Resch (Sandy) and Jeanne Smith (Wayne); her grandchildren, Benjamin DeGroot (Jess), Chris DeGroot (Andrea Eno), Richard Olson (Sarah), Mike Olson (Grace) and Gordy Olson; and her great grandchildren, Brenden DeGroot, Tabatha DeGroot and Russell Olson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
