She was predeceased by : her parents, Heinz Sopel and Carolyne Sopel; her grandson Griffin Niemuth; her in-laws, Judy, Ken and Lana; her brother Phillip; and also, Ann and Bernard Kozlowski.

She is survived by : her husband Allen Kozlowski; her children, Brenda Gorges, Robert Butelefski (Julienne), Connie Niemuth and Debra Lemmens (Todd); her grandchildren, Miranda, Adam, Ben (Ellen), Bryan (Becky), Jordan, Rhiannon, Emerson, Brad (Becky), Amanda (Riley) and Michael (Emily); her great grandchildren, Vada, Bensen, Lyla, Calvin and Finn; her siblings, Jon Sopel, Sr. and Lorelie Sopel (Jim); her brother-in-law Wayne Kozlowski (Deidre); and also Mike Gorges. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
