Bernard Flatt Jr. Obituary

Bernard E. "Joe" Flatt, Jr., age 70, passed away in his sleep at home on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was born on March 25, 1953, to the late Bernard and Marilyn Flatt. He married Barbara Eckhart on March 20, 1998, and they were blessed with 25 years of marriage. Joe worked as an RV technician for many years and enjoyed working with his hands. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping, and cheering on the Detroit Lions. Joe will be remembered as a devoted husband who loved his wife dearly.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Flatt, siblings Marilyn Flatt, Melissa Flatt, and Barrie Flatt, nephew Justin (Sara) Flatt, niece Mykala Flatt, in-laws Debbie (Peter) Scavotto, Marty (Jennifer) Eckhart, and Amanda (Brian) Sadler, along with many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law Cynthia Schwulst, and brother-in-law David J. Eckhart.

The funeral service for Joe will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 US Hwy 10 #114, Menasha, WI. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the service.
