He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Slowinski and Agnes Slowinski (Bikowski); his siblings, Richard, Greg Slowinski, Lorraine Wiernik, Leona Dekarske and Delores Miller; his brothers-in-law, David Wiernik, James Dekarske and Norbert Miller; and his son-in-law Sam Yakey.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Yakey (late Samuel), Julie Makuski (Todd), James (Luis Serrat), Jeffery and Jodi Wilcox (Roger); his grandchildren, Samantha Evankovich (Stephen), Elizabeth Huemmer (Karl), Lindsey Esser (Lucas), Ryan Makuski (Ellen Field), Ashlyn Wilcox and Jarett Wilcox; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Emilia, Benjamin, Gabriel, Andi, Claire and Kaci; and his siblings, Barbara Rybicki (Joe), Robert Slowinski (Lucy), June Slowinski and Elaine Przybelski (Lenny). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorials to the St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church Wheelchair Lift fund a cause close to Deloyd's heart and a meaningful way for him to continue to help make the church more accessible for Shirley and others in the community.
