He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward O'Bright and Ella O'Bright (Rymer); his wife Alice Drace; and his siblings, Jerome O'Bright, Rosemary Verkuilen and Marilyn Leedom.

He is survived by : his children, Alan O'Bright (Jill), Laura Hinkens (John), Lynn Stadler (Tom), David O'Bright (Sharon), Ann Van Asten (Edward) and Steven O'Bright (Kathy); and his sister Kathleen Oelrich.
