He is survived by: his son Robert Sr. Shortly (Heather); his significant other Jean Martinez; his children, Aaron and Nicole; his grandchildren, Anthony (Kayonna), Anieca, Robert Jr., Dennis, Jazaria and Preston; his great grandchildren, Avalina, Abel and Anastasia; his siblings, Jesus Martinez (Siegrun), Simon Martinez, Velma Bautista (Johnny), David Martinez and Esther Schoen (Jesse); his siblings-in-law, Sergio Garcia, Darla, Donna, Sharon (Joe) and Bob Bentle; and his nephew Dennis Guyette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
