She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Cole and Hessie Cole; her spouse L. A. "Bud" Wanty; her daughters, Janel Wanty and Judy Kosiorek; and her siblings, James, Cecil, Mildred and Kate.

She is survived by: her children, Joan Reichelt (Fred), John Wanty (Joan Grace), James Wanty (Patsy), Jeff Wanty, Joe Wanty (Anne), Jay Wanty and Jill Schmidt (Al); her grandchildren, Tim, Ben, Sam, Elizabeth, Josh, Jeff, Kate, Ryan, Jerry, Jake, Charlie, Cory, Adam, Quinn and Trisha; and her son-in-law Richard Kosiorek. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

During Covid19, Helen sewed 1700 fabric face masks that were distributed across the Fox Valley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the Salvation Army.
