He is survived by: his wife Nancy Thiel; his grandchildren, Royce, Nicholas, Farrah, Sierra and Breanne; his great grandchild Theodore "Teddy"; his granddaughter Stephanie Rackus (Brian); his siblings, Paul Thiel (Sue) and Sue Hoks; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Reagles (Dan), June Slack, Nick Talarczyk (Mary) and Sharon VanStiphout (Jay). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
