With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome Jeremiah Tangney of Menasha, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Tangney and Margaret Tangney; his parents-in-law, Olaf and Clara Hanson; his sister Alice Leszcyzski; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Leszczyski, Ed Duerst and Phyllis Tangney.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Joan Hanson; his children, Anita Thomson (Wally) and Bruce Tangney (Darcie); his grandchildren, Nikki Tangney, Paul Thomson (Shawnna) and Ben Thomson (Coral); his great grandchildren, Talia, Walter, Evelyn, Arthur and Millie; and his siblings, Cathie Duerst-Schroeder, Patrick Tangney, Bernard Jr. Tangney (Linda), Francis Tangney (Alice), Bill Tangney and Jim Bauer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (312 Milwaukee St, Menasha, WI 54952). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry or St Mary's Church.
