We announce the death of Marilyn E. Kersten of Menasha, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Lowe and Mary Lowe (McQuillan); her husband John "Skinny" Kersten of Patrick's Church; her children, Kathy and Tom; her grandsons, Frank and Cody; her siblings, Roberta (Cy) and Tom; and her sons-in-law, Henry and Larry.
She is survived by: her children, Kris, Keith, Karen (Randy), Pat, Marvin, Robert (Theresa) and Curt (Cindy); her grandchildren, Debbie (Ron), Jeff, Shelly (John), Christopher (Heather), Becky, Robert, Terry Lynn (Travis) and Charles; her granddaughter-in-law Elise; and her sisters-in-law, Ione and Nancy. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laemmrich Funeral Home (312 Milwaukee St, Menasha, WI 54952). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for several organizations and charities she was passionate about.
