He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gaffney and Adele Gaffney (Schmitz); his son Daniel; and his daughter-in-law Patti. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his children, Steve Gaffney (Cathy), Kathleen Schneider (Jeff), Mary M. Janssen (Mickey), Bill Gaffney (Lisa) and Molly Hanseter (Aric); his grandchildren, Nolan (Bayly), Ryan (Eleni), Emily (Brenton), Daniel, David (Erin), Patrick, Christopher, Nicholas (Hannah), Matthew (Kelsey), James, Marlowe and Amelia; his great grandchildren, Maddie, Sydney, Everett, Hazel, Mia, Vivian, Winona and Ava; and his cousin Marsha.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (324 Nicolet Blvd, Menasha, WI 54952). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Patrick Catholic Community (324 Nicolet Blvd, Menasha, WI 54952).
