He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Immekus and Frieda "Fritzie" Immekus; his grandparents, Lilah Schad, Edwin and Laura Immekus; his former wife Jill Immekus; and his brother-in-law Mike McCollow.
He is survived by: his son Joe Immekus; his significant other Terre Woodward; his sister Pam McCollow (Michael Silgen); his nephew Max McCollow (Lauren Stephens); his former wife Mary Immekus; his pet Lila; his cousins, Terry and Cindy; and his friend Steve Hildebrand.
