He is survived by: his significant other Jana; his significant other's son Zane Smith (Chelsea); his grandson Colton; his mother Carol Gierke; his siblings, Jeff Gierke (Lori), Mark Gierke (Barb), Tim Gierke and Theresa Lyon (Craig); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Herron (Ann), Launce Herron (Andrea) and Juanna Parker (Brad). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
