Alan P. Schrinsky Obituary

Alan passed away peacefully on 05/22/2025. Alan was born and raised in Shorewood, WI. He was a graduate of Shorewood High School, UW-Madison, and Marquette Law School. After law school he served as an active-duty member of the WI National Guard. He was then engaged in private law practice for approximately 40 years.

Alan was known by his friends as a talented card player – both Sheepshead and Poker. He was often known to "mauer" aggressively. Alan was also a highly knowledgeable collector of antique foreign currency, possessing a vast collection of German notgeld.

He is survived by sons Jacob and Alex, and grandsons Maxwell and Benjamin. Alan was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Barbara.
