He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Wallace, Sr. and Corinne Coleman Wallace; his grandparents, Earl, Mattie Coleman, John Henry and Julia Wallace; his aunt Mary Wallace; his parents-in-law, Rev. Gabriel and Mary Shaw; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Minor and Donna Harden.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Shaw; his children, Randall A. (Pam) and Ryan A. Whiteside; his stepdaughter Kara Baity; his grandchildren, Reia A. and Rachel A. Whiteside; his siblings, Jacqueline Minor, Muriel Simon (Joseph), Earl Harden, Brenda Brownlee (Donald), James Chapman, Sylvia Ellis (Andre) and Claire Brown (Albert); and his cousin Kathy C. Patterson (Greg). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Services (6820 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
