Was taken from us suddenly on March 18, 2024. Age 61 years. Loving dad of Andrew (Amanda) and grandpa to their soon to be daughter. Loving son of Sandra and the late Roger. Dear brother of Mike (Olivia). He is further survived by Doree, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Dave will be held on Tuesday March 26 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 3 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 6 PM. Dave will be laid to rest at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.

Dave was a sheriff's deputy and later became a detective for the Washington County Sheriff's Department. He loved to travel and ride his motorcycle. He also would help anybody with anything and was an all around great guy!

“Ed & I can't even say how very, very sorry and so sad about Dave! This is such sad news! And he was going to be grampa!! We are so upset that the Lord took Dave already! And we didn't know that Roger had passed either! Sandy, Doree, Andy & Amanda we are so sad for you! Dave was a wonderful man all around! We are so sad that we cannot be there for you all.
