Emily M. Tschachler Obituary
Emily M. Tschachler (née Kaiser) passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, at the age of 91. Devoted wife of the late Walter Tschachler for 62 years. Beloved mother of Therese (John) Meyerring, Jean (Brian) Ciske, Mary Jo (Tom) Malone and Betty (the late Steve) Dorst. Proud grandmother of James (Lulu), Jacqueline (Jerome), Stephanie, Daniel (Lillian), Emily, Laura and Nick (Kelsey). Great grandma to Zachery, Silas, Max, Charlotte and Hansen. Further preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Emily Kaiser, sisters Mary (Ernest) Terrien, Clare (Frank) Landavazo, son-in-law Steve Dorst, and grandsons T.J. and Michael.
Emily was a proud graduate of Divine Savior Holy Angels. She married Walter (Wally) in 1956 and together they raised four daughters in Milwaukee and later years in Wauwatosa. She loved music and crafts. In her younger years, she played the violin and taught piano. She loved sewing and made many of her daughter's clothes including the infamous mother daughter dresses. Other hobbies included knitting and needlepoint, and she was an avid reader.
A private memorial service and burial will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
