Helen L. Herde Obituary
(Nee Wodicka) Passed peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the age of 99 and is joining her husband "John" (Jack) and daughter Susie in heaven. Helen was born in Racine, WI to Dora (Ziebell) and Charles Wodicka and moved to Milwaukee, WI and later to Brown Deer with the love of her life, John Herde. Helen and John were married for 51 years.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by her children Gregg (Donna), Kathy (fiancé Mark) and John. Her grandchildren Michelle, Jason, David, Nicole, Jenny and Laurie. She is further survived by nephews Brian (Sue), Tom (Mary Jo) and Jim (Susan).
Helen was preceded in death by her husband John, her daughter Susie, her son-in-law Michael, her parents and her brothers Don and Chuck and nephew Dave.

Visitation Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave in Menomonee Falls from 1PM until time of the Memorial Service at 2PM. A family burial will be at a later day in Racine, WI. Memorial donations can be given to the Wisconsin Humane Society in memory of Helen.
