He is survived by: his parents, Rev. Peter Thomson and Mary Melinda Thomson; his children, Rev. Kevin Thomson (Jordan) and Stephanie Thomson; his granddaughters, Charlotte, Emily and Claire; his former wife Jackie Thomson; and his brother Ward Thomson (Beth).
