James Anthony DeLeeuw Obituary

James was born April 18, 1935 in Kimberly, WI to the late John and the late Violet (nee Seaver) DeLeeuw. He died peacefully surrounded by his family on March 23, 2022 at the age of 86 years.

Loving husband and best friend of Julie (nee Padek) for 37 years, and a great dad and pal to Sponky Dog. Devoted father of Elizabeth DeLeeuw, Catherine (Wayne) Bernardo and Jennifer (Steven) Lindquist. Adored grandfather of Natalie and Nicholas Bernardo; Harrison DeLeeuw; Audrey, Hunter and Taylor Lindquist. James is further survived by his brother, Gerald (Leone) of Stillwater, MN; his sister Barbara (the late Arnold) Merkel of Kimberly, WI; nieces, nephews, cousins. He will be dearly missed by friends and family alike.

James is a graduate of Ripon College. A member of Young Presidents' Organization. He achieved a 1968 Outstanding Young Men of America award and was Entrepreneur of the Year in 1987.

A Celebration of Life is planned for June. A complete obituary will be forthcoming as it nears the time for the memorial service.
