Janice R. Thompson Obituary

Jan Thompson passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, at the age of 81. Jan was born on February 15, 1945. She called Wauwatosa home for more than 50 years, spending much of that time in the home that held so many years of her life and memories. Her home was rarely without a beloved dog by her side, and the dogs she loved over the years were truly part of her family. A cancer survivor, Jan faced life with strength and resilience while maintaining a deep appreciation for the beautiful things in life. Jan was an extremely talented artist, and creativity was an important part of who she was. Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Thompson, and her daughter, Shelley Thompson. She is survived by her son, Chad Thompson.
