Of Menomonee Falls. Born into Eternal Life on February 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Marvin G. Loving mom of Marvin "Marv" (Debby) and the late James. Proud grandma of Dominic, Erica (Adam) Fox, Anthony, Sean (Kristina), Xavier (Careece), Ashley (Brandon) Daniels and Winston Wynn. Further survived by numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be Saturday March 15, 2025 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 10am until time of service at 11am. Procession to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.
Joan was born on October 3, 1933. She grew up in Columbus, OH with her parents Charles and Blanche and her brother Ron. She met her husband Marvin in Ohio, and they were married on July 17, 1954. Marvin was a TV Engineer for WTMJ 4 in Milwaukee. Joan worked at Nationwide while in Columbus and then became a homemaker after moving to Milwaukee. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She loved spending time with family and friends. Joan had a passion for playing cards, especially Bridge. She enjoyed traveling, but mainly to Florida to visit her family and to enjoy the weather. In Joan's later years, she loved to watch the Green Bay Packers and classic Westerns and comedies starring Doris Day, Paul Newman or Rock Hudson. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
