Entered into Eternal Life on January 30, 2022 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Dona (nee Wolf) for 70 years. Loving dad of Michael (Teri), Patricia (Brian) Murphy and the late Lori. Proud grandpa of 7. Great-grandpa of 15. Great-great-grandpa of 1. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday February 4, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave. in Menomonee Falls, from 11am until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 1pm. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Church Cemetery.
John proudly served in the US Army. He retired from USPS after 40 years of service. He was a Germanfest director for many years, as well as the President of the German Philatelic Society, and lifetime member of the American, Milwaukee, and Wauwatosa Philatelic Societies. He was also a European Model Train enthusiast.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
