Joseph Henry Lehmann III Obituary

Joe Lehmann returned to our heavenly father September 27th, 2025.

Loving husband to Carol G. Lehmann and father to Joe, Dan, and Tom Lehmann. He was born to Joseph and Mary Louise Byrnes Lehmann in Buffalo New York. He grew up with his sisters Margret, Mary Louise and brother Edward in Pittsburgh PA and attended college @ Pittsburgh University.

Joe spent two years in the army and then began a career with Bethlehem Steel. This took him to Chicago where he met his wife Carol and they began their family. In 1980 they relocated to Mequon Wisconsin where they spent the rest of their lives.

Joe loved spending time with family and friends. He had a true passion for the game of golf and the stories, jokes, friends and camaraderie that came with it. He enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports, birds come to his feeders, cooking, jazz and the peace and quiet of sitting on the deck at twilight with his wife of 55 years.

Joe is survived by his sons Joe IV and Tom Lehmann; his grandchildren Joseph Henry V, Jackson, James and Mary Lehmann; sisters Margret and Mary Louise and brother Ned Lehmann.

A celebration of life will be held sometime in the spring of 2026.
