Kay L. Peterson Obituary
Hi, this is a short story about my sister Kay Peterson. After several months of various illnesses she has hung up her first baseman's mitt for the last time and will be coaching from the dugout. No more of Mary or Shirley or Maggie or Sue yelling from the bench to get another hit or to grab the ball to tag out the runner coming towards first base. Even when I asked her to get up out of the Hospital bed so she could get ready to play first base in the spring she didn't listen to her baby brother that had the nickname Peewee!! No more of her students asking miss Peterson that if they play soccer tomorrow if they can be a forward or goalie. Kay won't be playing basketball or soccer or going out on Okauchee lake water skiing or on a tube or something else. It was fun watching Kay or as Mary called her Scorpi and 'Boyer' sitting on the top of the boat's captain seat going across Okauchee Lake. No more bar-dice after a fish fry. I guess she's hung up her clubs after finishing 18 holes on the course with her brothers or parents Pat and Gilbert. Maybe they'll play sheepshead and have a beer. Or maybe as her last official duty just saying Goodnight to everyone and say see everyone in the morning! See you later alligator- after while crocodile………. Bye Sis………….I couldn't write anymore even if I wanted to!! Pee Wee says Love You Forever Kay.
