Kenneth N. Allan Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Moon) for 65 years. Loving father of Scott (Shari) Allan, Lynn (Keith) Becker, Rick (Peggy) Allan and the late Pam (Dan) Sullivan. Cherished grandfather of Alyson (Alex) Mattson, Ben (Alyssa) Allan, Amber Allan, Amy Sullivan (Jamison Miller) Megan Sullivan, Kip Sullivan, Jay Sullivan, William Allan and Nicole (Nehemiah) Juaire. Proud great-grandfather of Maddie Allan, Amandine Mattson and Arielle Mattson. Dear brother of Adonna Allan. Brother-in-law of Shirley (the late Robert) Hendricks. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends. Ken is preceded in death by his parents Norman and Emily, sister Lorraine Pahlisch, and Carol's siblings Marilyn Vogt, Dolores Forrest, Gerry Pirwitz, David Moon and Tom Moon.

Ken had a good sense of humor and was always inquisitive and especially loved talking with people and learning about them. He enjoyed a good brandy old-fashioned and was a humble person never wanting to be the center of attention but there whenever you needed him. Ken earned his engineering degree from UW Madison where he was a proud member of the UW Madison marching band, and his MBA from UW Milwaukee.

An avid athlete, Ken excelled at bowling, tennis, golf and softball. Ken's eyesight was taken from him in his early 60's but his strong faith helped him remain optimistic and appreciative of life. His guide dog Lucca was by his side for many years and they were known for walking about the Falls with his white lab leading the way.

Ken was the protector and best friend to his high school sweetheart and wife. He was proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought him so much happiness.

Many thanks to all who helped him live his best life in his later years: Kelsy, Sharon, Lauren, Latrice, Jeremy, Beth, Kyla, Samantha and Thomas.
