Larry L. Rector Obituary
Larry Rector passed away peacefully on Sunday December 22nd, surrounded by family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and man of faith whose life was defined by love, hard work, and commitment to his community.
Above all, Larry was a family man. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Barb, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage; his children, Paul and his wife Bobbi, Anne and her late husband Chris, Laura, and Karen; and his grandchildren, Morgan and David.
He is also survived by his brother, Del, and his wife Dianne, his sister, Judy, and her husband Jerry, and his brother-in-law, Jack, who was married to Larry's late sister Nancy. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, remembered for his kindness and generosity.
Faith was central to Larry's life. As a committed Catholic, he became the first Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at Assumption Parish in Belmont, Michigan. After moving to Wisconsin, he continued to live his faith, serving as a role model of devotion and kindness.
Larry had a distinguished career in the HVAC industry. At the time of his retirement, he was the owner of Climatic Control Company where he worked with a dedicated team of associates who shared his commitment to excellence. He valued the relationships he built with his colleagues and mentors.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave in Menomonee Falls from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Additional Visitation on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Funeral Home from 10AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11AM. Private burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
