He was a very loving, caring, supportive, and intellectual friend who cared very deeply for others. Always knowing just how to cheer anyone up with his laugh, smile, and great advice. “Percy was a lovely human being who seemed able to leave one with a special kind of "lightness of being." I witnessed as he demonstrated the unique gift of putting people at ease. I also watched as he gazed longingly upon the back patio area on our campus, at the woods and the animals, all desirous of Spring green out. He was clearly a child and protector of this Natural world. That world has him now, even as our shared hearts break in missing him. May the Creator hold him and his family closely.”
