Patricia J. (Brill) Schnell Obituary
Patricia ("Pat") was born on November 25, 1931 and born to eternal life on May 12, 2026, at age 94. Predeceased by her parents Leroy and Leona (nee Bunge) Brill. She married the late Francis Schnell on September 15, 1951, whom she met when they both worked at Hart-Carter Company in New Holstein, WI. She also worked for many years with Francis in his business, Sure-Way Tool & Die in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Pat enjoyed working on various crafts including sewing, knitting, quilting, cross stitch, and often donated these beautiful, handmade items to her parish or the local hospital where she volunteered for many years in the gift shop and in clerical roles. Reading was also a favorite activity.
Being with family and friends brought Pat so much joy and happiness. She was involved in many different clubs, oftentimes as an officer of the club. She also performed in senior plays put on for the community, and enjoyed many trips, nationally and internationally with her sister-in-law, Bernice Zielke.
Mother of Gloria (Daniel Troedel), Kathryn (Thomas) Schneider, Cynthia, Gary (Paula), and Ryan (Shelle). Grandmother of Krista and Andrea D'Amato, and Cameron and Jenna Schnell. Sister of the late Clarice (late William) Knepfel and Jordan (Lanette) Brill.
Survived by sisters-in-law Gladys Paulson and Grace Mikalofsky, and brother-in-law Jim (Margie) Schnell, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law John (Evelyn) Schnell, Helen (Otto) Kaderabek, Bernice (Stephen) Zielke, Alice (Walter) Dudarenke, Kenneth (Marie) Schnell, Gene Paulson, Edmund Mikalofsky and Louise (Wallace) Thiel.
Visitation at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls (N89W16297 Cleveland Ave) on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 9:30am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Catholic Charities.
