Phyllis H. Pellechia Obituary

Phyllis Hall Pellechia (nee Moody) of Menomonee Falls passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 13, 2026 at the age of 88. She is the beloved wife of the late Pasquale (Pat) Pellechia. Loving mother of Kathryn (Brian) Sonier and Stephen (Sheri) Pellechia. Proud Grandma of Christopher (Maggie) Sonier, Alissa Sonier, Michael Pellechia, Nicholas Pellechia and Joseph Pellechia. She is also survived by her niece Babette Reyes, and other relatives and friends.

A longtime educator in the Elmbrook School District, Phyllis spent many years instructing first- and third-grade students, leaving a lasting impact on those she taught. Her faith was central to her life. As an active member of her congregation, she sang in her church choir, served on the Altar Guild and contributed to numerous church activities. When she wasn't busy spending time with her grandchildren, she would be found busily sewing or quilting. Phyllis leaves a legacy defined by teaching, faith, and service. She will be remembered with gratitude by her former students, her church community, her friends, and all whose lives she influenced.

Funeral services for Phyllis will be held on Friday October 23, 2026, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church (W239 N6440 Maple Ave. Sussex, WI. 53089). Visitation will begin at 4:00pm with services to follow at 5:00pm. Burial to follow in St. Alban's church cemetery.The family wishes to express a grateful and heartfelt thanks to all the staff of The Auberge at Oak Village and Legacy Hospice. She was dearly loved and cared for by them.
