Robert Hugh Ferguson Obituary
Welcomed into the arms of the lord on September 18, 2024 at the age of 72. Loving husband of Lynda Ann (nee DeKoning) Ferguson for 48 years. Proud father of Jason Robert (the late Kimberly Michelle), and Aaron Vernon (Satsuki) Ferguson.
Loving grandpa of Samantha, Arisa, Emily, Zachary, and Gabriel. Brother-in-law of Cheryl DeKoning, Robert DeKoning, and Mary Ann (Chris) Graesing. Very close friends to Mike (Terry) Griener, and Diane Ziebert.
Further survived by other family and friends. Proceeded in death by his parents Robert V. & Mary (nee Maxey) Ferguson, his brother William Ferguson and his in-laws Roland & JoAnn (nee Harder) DeKoning. Bob was proud of the title bus driver, as he worked for Johnson School Bus for over 20 years.
He had also retired from Kohls Distribution Center as a loss prevention officer after working there for 20 years. Bob also worked for the 128th Air National Guard Refueling Base for 14 years. Bob was a proud mason for 44 years.
He started his journey at the Hartford Lodge 120, then to the Scottish Rite, and lastly the Tripoli Shrine Temple where he was a part of the Tripoli Shrine Animals where he obtained the name "Cheer Bear" and then later "Minion". He was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Wauwatosa Chapter 219. He was a long-time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Bob helped usher and enjoyed the men's bible study. Services will be held on Sunday, September 29th at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051). Visitation starts at 12pm until time of services at 2pm.
