Robert S. Kramer (Rob) of Menomonee Falls, WI, passed peacefully on February 4, 2026. He was raised in Elgin, Illinois by his parents Robert B and Dorthy Kramer who preceded him in death. A graduate of Elgin High School, Arizona State University, and John Marshall Law School. He resided in Elgin until his retirement.

He began his 40-year law career with his father and uncle before forming Bazos, Freeman and Kramer law firm. He was a former member of the Illinois Bar Association and Elgin Rotary Club. Craig Boiley wrote a sympathy message

“I grew up playing golf with Rob at Elgin Country Club. Then Spartan Meadows, Bowes Creek and other courses around Elgin. He was always in for another 9, loved the game and its history. He was a good man, I will miss him. Tee it high and let it fly Rob… Craig Boiley”
