Roger Halliburton Obituary
Roger Halliburton (age 88) of the village of Menomonee Falls, WI, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Vitas Respite Care Ruth House. He was born December 31, 1936, in Milwaukee to William and Ruth Halliburton (nee Voight). On March 17, 1955, Roger was married to Judith Leah Marple in the state of Michigan; the marriage was blessed in the church on April 24, 1955, in Milwaukee, WI.
Roger was an honest, hardworking businessman. He faithfully provided for his wife and family. Roger grew up learning the family business, Halliburton Plumbing, and he went on to own and operate the company until his retirement at 82 years old.
Anyone who knew Roger, would know that he loved his family, his God, his country, and the Green Bay Packers. His and Judy's home was never quiet-full of their children and grandchildren and friends and pets and music, full of LIFE. There was always a seat at the table, a place to reminisce and soak up the lessons that went along with the stories. With Roger, right was right and wrong was wrong; and his sense of justice was his passing wisdom. He loved his Savior, Jesus, and sought to live out his faith from day to day. He respected God's handiwork in the creation around him-caring for the fallen bird, gently tending his plants, wondering in awe at the oncoming storm. His home constantly held our country's flag in honor; he was always ready to offer a salute to our troops. And not a football game would go by without the cry of, "Go, Pack, Go!". Roger was well loved and respected, and his legacy lives on in everyone who shared a seat at his table.
Roger is survived by his 4 children-Timothy (Pamela) of Mukwonago, Peggy (Robert) of Branson, MO, Jill of Oconomowoc, Amy of Queen Creek, AZ; his 19 grandchildren- Beth, Jenni, KJ, Abbey, Heidi, Sarah, TJ, Cole, Ben, Bobby, Catie, Jennifer, Christine, Emiley, Annie, Jonathan, Rebecka, Nathan, Joshua; his 40 great-grandchildren; his sister Joy (Bud) of Jackson; his brother Mark; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Halliburton, his beloved wife Judith, his beautiful daughter MaryBeth (May), and his brothers William Jr., Gerry, Richard, Dale, and Leon.
The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Vitas Hospice Home Care-especially to his caregivers Tynetta and Vanesha-and to the medical staff at Ruth House for their kindness and loving care given to our dad in his final days.
