He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hoerig and Pauline Hoerig (Konrath); his siblings, Ervin Hoerig (Arlene), Harvey Hoerig (Elizabeth) and LaVerne Feucht (Harold); and his son David Hoerig.

He is survived by: his children, John Hoerig (Jeanine) of Menomonee Falls and Julie Kammerer (Edward) of St. Joseph Missouri; his grandchildren, Wayne, Nicholas Hoerig, Jacob, Kyle, Claudia and Clare Kammerer; and his sister Ruth Hoerig. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
