Susan Spector Obituary

Susan G. Spector (Sue) nee Gillan passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 83 in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Sue will be remembered as a life long elementary school educator with a love for the children in her care and for her devotion to reading and books.

Sue was born January 22, 1942 in Glens Falls, New York to Genevieve and Alexander Gillan who preceded her in death. She was the younger sister of Sandra, aunt to Tim and Kendra, and the beloved wife of 38 years to the late Michael (Mike) Spector.

She retired after 36 years in the Brown Deer, WI school system where in addition to her teaching she was the high school pom/dance coach. Upon retirement she continued as a reading specialist with SGS Ltd. for seven years.

Per her request, there will be a private service.
