Theresa Tiffe Obituary

Theresa Tiffe at the age of 94, found Eternal Peace on November 28, 2023 when she was reunited with her beloved husband Josef. Born in Canada on August 24th, 1929, the only child to Sophie and Mattias Partl. Theresa grew up in Yugoslavia, met her husband in Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1956. She was proud to become a US citizen and give her children the opportunity for an education she never received.

Theresa is lovingly remembered by her children Peter, (Suzanne) Tiffe, Gabriele (Chris) Young and Annemarie Tiffe (Deb Skelding). Adored Oma to her grandchildren Elisabeth (Tim) Mertins, Jessica Tiffe, step grandson Chad (Rhonnie) Garcia, Jennifer (Scott) Bunting, Lisa (Dan) Schani and Thomas Young. Proud Omma and Omi to her great grandchildren Heidi, Maverick, Josie and Walker Mertins, Alexis, Jacob, and Matthew Bunting, James, Will and Abbie Schani.

Family was the most precious to her. Caring for and spending time with them gave her great joy.

Theresa took great pride in her home and garden and sharing her European Heritage through her traditional German recipes with others. An avid Wisconsin sports fan, she followed the Packers, Bucks and Brewers faithfully. She will always be remembered for her great strength, fortitude, compassion and wonderful sense of humor.

A special thanks to her neighbors for their friendship and many acts of kindness throughout the years.
